The month of May for Karinya House is a celebration of women.

We all know amazing women. At Karinya we have the privilege of meeting amazing women every day.

Given the services we provide, Mother’s Day is a significant day. We recognise this day can mean something different to every woman. The word “Mother” itself can also mean something different for every person.

The month of May includes Labour Day, International Day of the Midwife, International Nurses Day, International Day of Families, National Volunteers Week and National Sorry Day. Every one of these days has meaning here at Karinya House and the services we provide.

The May appeal is our largest annual appeal and supports the service beyond the current financial year.

Our target is $50,000. Your financial support through our May Appeal demonstrates tangible respect and recognition for the women, mothers and mothers-to-be, we walk alongside.
