Thank you to everyone who attended the 2023 Karinya House Gala Dinner on Friday 8 September 2023.

We gathered to celebrate the women we have walked alongside, the women we will continue to walk alongside and to celebrate you for walking alongside with us.

You came, dined and danced the night away to celebrate all things Karinya, with great warmth and joy. Thank You All.

We thank “Hit Parade” and “DJ Carbolic“, and all the contributors to the fun and frivolity pf this celebration of the Karinya Village.

We especially thank Violet Sheridan for joining us and gifting us with her Welcome To Country – such an inspiring and powerful moment to lead this event.

We extend our gratitude to the CSCC, our Event Partner and the CSCC Woden Chef and Events Team, who all provided the most fabulous service.

Karinya House is committed to reconciliation. We acknowledge the traditional owners of the land upon which we live and work and pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging. We extend this recognition and respect to all Aboriginal people we work with, both as colleagues and those we walk alongside.  We recognise sovereignty was never ceded and we celebrate the never-ending connection of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people around Australia to land, water and community.
