Referrals
The Karinya House referral criteria is a woman who is pregnant or parenting a newborn baby, under the age of 3 months, at the time of referral.
Women who have been supported by Karinya House in the past, are also welcome to re-engage with Karinya House support.
An individual can self-refer to Karinya House.
Karinya House also accepts referrals from community organisations and other services across the Canberra Region and beyond.
Karinya House is a voluntary service. The permission of the woman requesting support is required.
Where necessary Karinya House will assist with cross-referral and advocacy for access to other services.
