Dave has been active in the Not for Profit Community Services Sector in the Canberra Region for over 10 Years, and is enjoying his current role with Palliative Care ACT.

Dave brings experience from a rich vocational history, including completing a Fitting and Machining trade course at the Australian National University, working in mines in Tasmania and on prawn trawlers in Queensland, through to spending 20 years in television news. Dave worked on the Sydney 2000 Olympics, the Commonwealth Games in Canada, federal budgets and elections, and spent almost 10 years in the Parliament House Press Gallery as Senior News Editor for the Seven Network. Dave completed a Diploma of Management in 2010, and an Advanced Diploma of Management in 2012.

Apart from being passionate about our community, Dave enjoys creating the perfect wood fired pizza in his oven on his back deck, fishing and spending time with family and friends…..and his gorgeous Labrador Billy!
