2020 Annual Mother’s Day Gala Dinner – 1 May 2020!
The Karinya House Annual Mother’s Day Gala Dinner is always a great night of fun and celebration! Join us on 1 May 2020! Held in the Corinna Ballroom at The Canberra Southern Cross Club, Woden, the evening starts with on arrival drinks at 6.30pm through to 7.00pm.
Alternate service entrée and main course, followed by delightful petit fours for dessert. Your table will have a complimentary bottle of Sparkling, White and Red Wine as well. Be entertained by Canberra’s Premier Band “Hitparade“, and the fabulous “DJ Carbolic“!
We are pleased to again welcome Mugshots Photobooths at the 2020 event and we thank Maggie for supporting Karinya House through the booth availability. We welcome our guests to have fun at the booth (free), take home a strip of fun filled photos, with electronic images available from Karinya House after the event upon request.
Individual tickets will remain at $125 per person. We considered this was important, to ensure the ticket price did not preclude any of our supporters from attending. We have provided the option to pay more per individual ticket, with a donation component identified and included. Some of last year’s Gala Survey respondents indicated they would like this option and we would welcome ticket purchases including this additional support.
Associate Sponsor tables remain at $2,000 for a Table of 10, with acknowledgement of your support on your table, as part of the welcome and the gala booklet and throughout the rolling slide presentation. We are also looking for event sponsors ($4,000) to sponsor the event entertainment or audio-visual costs. Event Sponsorship, together with the inclusions previously outlined, will also include individual Social Media Promotion leading up to the Event, and more prominent acknowledgement in the Gala Booklet. All sponsors will be listed on our website (Hyperlinked Logo) as part of the Gala Sponsor Webpage (as well as on our Supporter webpage).
We are seeking items for Auction and Raffle, as well as contributions of wine (valued at >=$20 RRP) for the Mystery Wine Draw.
Based on survey results, we will be making the 2020 event more about the celebrating and dancing and less about the business of the event. The online auction, raffle and wine draw remain as part of the entertainment and fundraising elements of the event.
