Emily Egan is a 21 year old model and student at University of Canberra. This year, Emily is selected as a National Finalist in the Miss Galaxy Australia pageant and will be representing Canberra at the National Final in May. As a part of this journey she would like to support her local community.
Emily is being sponsored by local, corporate business Car Mechanical Services.
This is Emily’s personal message to the Canberra community:
My name is Emily Egan and I am so proud to announce that I will be Canberra’s representative in the 2019 National Final of Miss Galaxy Australia. As a part of this journey, I will be working closely with my local community to develop my leadership skills and raise funds for various groups of my choosing. It is vital to me that I am supporting my local industry as I am so proud to be a Canberra local. I have been supporting Karinya House for a number of years through school and I am ecstatic to be partnering with Karinya House for my Miss Galaxy Journey. Karinya House provides a safe and nurturing home for mothers and their babies. They provide a place of welcome and sanctuary where individuals can gain support, renew their personal resources and develop their capabilities to achieve their goals as a part of a valued community. Karinya House truly affirms the value of every person and I am so proud to be raising funds for this wonderful not for profit organisation. I will be raising funds as well as gathering donations in the form of prizes for their annual Gala night.
It would absolutely mean the world to me if you could dig deep and help me support this incredible service. I am so proud to be representing Canberra and I would love to assist my local community as best I can and hopefully bring the title home to the ACT.
We love Emily’s passion for Canberra and her local community. To donate to Karinya House on behalf of Emily’s fundraising initiative, please do so here..
We thank Emily for choosing Karinya House to support as part of her fundraising efforts and we wish her all the best for the national pageant.
