Maureen Sheehan is an iconoclast who has spent her life breaking down traditional service systems based on outmoded notions of welfare.
She is a reformer and designer of human services systems. She has 13 years experience in reforming government services in public housing and homelessness. She has acheived substantial economic efficiency and savings for goverments, as well as demonstrated improved outcomes for clients.
More recently she has taken on the role of moving the entire ACT disability service system in to the National Disability Insurance Scheme in just 2 years, some 4 years ahead of the full scheme nationally.
