Karinya House highly values the compassion and care they exhibit and the professional skills and experience they share.
Karinya House is committed to ethical and effective practice. Innovation and development in service excellence is achieved through practicing critical reflection, engaging with research and peer-based learning. Karinya House recognises that personal growth comes from life’s experiences and promotes ongoing personal and professional development for women, staff and volunteers. Practitioners exercise professional judgement within an organisation and policy context, complimented by professional supervision and ongoing evaluation and continued professional development. All staff and volunteers commit to the Karinya House Code of Conduct.
The average length of service of staff at Karinya is 7.5 years, with a number of staff having been involved in the organisation for over 10 years. Available positions are advertised through the News section on this website. We also welcome expressions of interest from persons interested in working at Karinya House.
Members of the Care Team – Caseworkers, Casework Navigators, Health Professionals and Support Workers and the Administration and Finance Team – are not imaged below.
In addition to the executive staff members and the Partnerships and Events Manager imaged below, Karinya House has a Care Team of 20 women and 2 women supporting the Administration and Finance functions. All Karinya House team members are part-time or casual. The FTE for 2025/26 is 18.13 FTE.
